The more I write publicly, the more comments I receive. Some are helpful, some are unpleasant, and some are just disparaging. It’s not good to lump them all together.

I can’t tell from a single comment whether someone is insecure, frustrated, or simply reads what I wrote differently. I can check what they said and see if there’s anything worth considering.

When a comment contains a valid argument, I read it even if I dislike the tone. When it boils down to an insult, I don’t have to get drawn into an endless debate.

Over time, I’ve come to realize that not every reaction requires a response. Sometimes it’s enough to clarify what wasn’t clear and get back to work, without feeling the need to turn every disagreement into an argument.

I want to keep hearing constructive criticism without letting rudeness derail my whole day.
