There have been periods in my life when I’ve faced serious choices in my personal growth. I’d stand before a dilemma and ask myself what was best for me. This or that? What if I make a mistake? What if I spend time and energy but don’t get the result I want?
I wanted the most and the best for myself. That’s why, back then, I thought more than I felt. I analyzed more than I trusted my intuition. I tried to see everything in advance. To control the outcome. To know where each step would lead me. But that’s impossible. And unnecessary. Today I approach choice differently. I can’t know everything in advance, but I can weigh what’s before me and learn from the results.
Every decision draws something out of us. It teaches us something. It brings something to light. The fear of making the wrong choice often paralyzes us. A wrong choice doesn’t automatically become a useful one. We need to understand what led us to it and what we’ll change next time. Through it, the way forward becomes clear. Not because we control everything, but because we’re maturing.
Let go.
Don’t skip over what life brings you. You don’t have to emerge from every dilemma with complete certainty in order to make a well-considered decision.
