Before investing in training, you should check where that knowledge is used and what opportunities it realistically opens up. Talking to people in the field can help distinguish a useful program from an attractive promise.
Development is not an obligation to pay for everything and do it ourselves. The employer, colleagues and available programs can provide support. It is our responsibility to understand the objective and make a sustained effort, with an honest assessment of the time and resources at our disposal.
