Skill is developed through work, but it is not enough just to repeat the same procedure. We can practice for a long time and reinforce a mistake that we did not notice.
So it helps to know which part we are trying to improve. To compare previous and current work, get feedback and change what is not working. Sometimes it takes someone more experienced to show us what we don't see ourselves.
Regularity facilitates that process, but does not replace rest and assessment. Progress is not only measured by time spent in practice. It is also important what we can do today more precisely than before.
