When we put in effort for a long time and nothing moves, it's easy to conclude that we lack persistence. Sometimes the problem is a process we repeat, an expectation that no longer has a basis or an obligation that we have outgrown.

Before making a big change, it's useful to sort out what's really not working. Is there a lack of time, a clearer agreement, a different skill or a decision that we postpone? Such questions yield more than waiting for stagnation to become progress on its own.

Change doesn't have to change an entire life. It can start with a single conversation or a small attempt. Its result shows whether it makes sense to continue on the same path or choose a different one.
