Advancement changes authority, but does not remove the need to listen. Just when we have more influence, our interruptions, rejection of questions, or unfair judgment can do more damage than before.
It's worth remembering what it was like when we didn't have access to information or the opportunity to make decisions. What helped us then, and what stopped us?
That memory should not remain a beautiful story about a humble beginning. It should be seen in today's attitude towards people: in a clear answer, the opportunity to learn the job and standards that apply to us as well.
