Tiredness may appear while we are doing something important, but it does not in itself prove that we are making progress. It can also indicate a workload that has exceeded our capacity for a long time.
That is why the answer does not have to be a request to continue more slowly, but without stopping. Sometimes you need to stop, rest or change your schedule. It is useful to check what really needs to be done and what we can postpone or share with others.
The goal can remain important even when we slow down. Maintaining a life and relationships outside of work is also part of deciding how we want to work. Persistence is worth evaluating together with its price.
