There is a kind of fatigue that has nothing to do with the number of working hours. It is decision fatigue. The fatigue of constantly weighing people against results. Between speed and accuracy. Between what’s popular and what’s necessary. In the modern world, leaders are expected to be everything: decisive, empathetic, approachable, stable, visionary.

Rarely does anyone ask: what is the inner cost? That is why true leaders learn one difficult skill: to pause before they burn out. To quietly reassess their direction before they lose themselves.

Slowing down is not a weakness; pausing before exhaustion is the wiser course.
