In creative work, we can choose between physical production, digital solutions and their combination. No method is automatically evidence of greater seriousness simply because it requires more visible effort.

It is necessary to understand what the result should enable and under what conditions it is created. Quality, cost, time and safety have a place in the same assessment. The reason for the choice should be clearer than the desire to make the work look demanding.

Good practice can include practical work when it makes a meaningful contribution. It can also include technology that makes work easier. The value is in a responsible decision and a result that we can explain, instead of a predetermined division into authentic and inauthentic creation.
