Change can be welcome and yet take time. A new job, a different relationship or everyday life after an important event brings obligations that have yet to be understood and habits that have yet to be adjusted.
It is not helpful to compare your pace with someone whose circumstances are different. Instead of demanding that we manage immediately, we can check what is currently causing us the greatest difficulty and what kind of support would be practical.
Some things become easier through experience, while for others you need to look for a different solution. Time itself is not a promise that everything will pass. It can be a space for conversation, learning and gradual adjustment of a new way of life.
