A new tool can speed up part of the work, but its choice is not the end of the decision. You need to understand how it will change tasks, responsibilities and the way people work together.
If the team is given technology without explanation and time to learn, there may be more misunderstandings than benefits. It is important to hear what makes it difficult for people to work and check whether the chosen solution corresponds to that problem.
I expect the leader to connect the technical decision with the organisation of work. Who will help with the transition? How will we track the result? What do we change if it turns out that the tool does not deliver what we expected?
